Technology speaks our language

The impact of AI on our society is undeniable. Increasingly, we see how these technological innovations are changing the way we live, work and interact with the world around us. Moneo highlights the times in which we find ourselves thanks to the development of programmable technologies with human language, as in the case of ChatGPT. 

"A very interesting idea of why this is a very special time in technology is that, for the first time, we have found a technology that is programmed by human language." Unlike complex programming languages that require years of study, these new technologies make it possible to interact and program in a simple and accessible way. This means that "anyone, regardless of their academic background, can use these technologies to create and manufacture things". 

But the real revolution lies in the fact that human language, whether written, spoken or in video format, contains a vast amount of knowledge gathered throughout history. Moneo stresses that all our experiences, ideas and knowledge become learning material for these new artificial intelligence technologies. This opens the door to universal access to human knowledge, allowing technology to learn from us and apply that knowledge for the benefit of society. 

In addition, Moneo mentions another fundamental aspect of this moment of technological transformation: we are witnessing the arrival of "platform technologies". These are technologies that emerge from time to time and have a global impact on all sectors and countries, becoming tools for the creation of the next generation of products and services. The boom of Artificial Intelligence is a change that transcends borders and will affect all areas of our lives.
