The impact of agile methodologies and the importance of training in the digital environment are key issues in the workplace, both for companies and professionals. Agility is a core aspect of the companies' operations that, in many cases, is essential for their survival. Irene Martín, Project Manager at Opinno, discusses this in an interview for UNIR about these key aspects.

Agile methodologies are a response to a constantly changing work environment. “It's a way of working that companies have been adapting and adopting for a long time, especially in a more industrial environment, which is based on total flexibility to adapt to an ever-changing environment. You must move fast enough to keep moving forward,” says Irene.

Regarding the role of the Agile coach, Irene stressed its importance in the transition to agile practices. “The Agile coach is the facilitator who will offer support and guidance to all of these new professionals in this transformation, including their managers, so that they can really adjust both their mentality and their way of working to this new management model”.

The interview also addressed the impact of technology on agile management and digital transformation. Technologies such as artificial intelligence and data science play a key role in agile decision making and optimization of production processes. “Robotization, for example, applied in certain key parts of a company, makes it much more competitive and efficient, able to optimize those development or delivery processes.”

The interview also addressed the power of collaborative platforms in innovation and the exchange of knowledge. Irene mentioned the example of Opinno, which uses a platform-based consulting model to collaborate with external experts and enrich its projects. “It's a totally disruptive working model. Until recently, companies were completely private organizations, whereas now we are opening up more and more to anyone being able to interact with us.”
