Thee Wednesday, Barcelona was home to one of the best dialogues between CEOs. Opinno had the pleasure of working hand-in-hand with IESE Business School to create a space in which managers could interact with each other and share their visions of innovation.

During the event, leaders of companies such as Novartis and Cellex shared the greatest secrets and challenges they had faced in achieving innovation, identifying opportunities, avoiding common mistakes and being able to innovate at the speed of new companies.

José María Siota, Research Director of IESE, allowed attendees to enjoy a multisectoral event in which senior managers from three of the most representative sectors of the company in Spain participated in an active dialogue in which key points such as opportunities, trends and recommendations were addressed.

Re representing Opinno, Tommaso Canonici, Founding Partner and CEO of Opinno Europa, together with Antonio Núñez Martín, “Leader in innovation”, spoke about the vision of innovation in Spain and the impact it will have on the future of organizations.  They talked about how to transform an organization, from technology, vision, mission and values to its people.nbsp;

Jesús Ponce, President of Novartis Spain, spoke of his BIOME project and the initiatives faced by a company that invests more than 18% of its revenue in innovation. On the other hand, we had the vision of the Director General and Business Transformation of Banco Sabadell, Manuel Tresánchez, who spoke about the profound change and the need for innovation in the banking sector. Consequently, Tobias Martínez Gimeno of Cellnex explained the detailed implications and strategies of the telecommunications sector. In his speech, he also spoke of the expansion in the UK and the risks that need to be taken to double the value of stocks in recent years, based on an aggressive innovation strategy in the company's business model, as well as the challenges ahead.

In short, it is important to highlight the participation of Opinno, the vision shared by Tommaso to see innovation as a fundamental pillar of the process towards the success of any organization. In addition, it is essential to echo the instance, not shared by all guests, that it is not enough to know and be able to achieve it, but that you also have to want to innovate and make a difference.
