The great resignation
The Great Resignation is a concept that has become especially popular in the last two years. It stems from a phenomenon that is affecting many companies, especially in the English-speaking world, and which involves the mass resignation of employees.
The motivations behind these departures are diverse and range from the desire to undertake personal projects, the need for more time to spend with their families, moving to work in other jobs that are better paid or less demanding, or the fatigue and dissatisfaction with jobs that do not fulfil the employee's life purpose.
Faced with this, organizations are reacting in various ways to ensure a corporate culture based on values and incentives, so that employees feel more integrated. In addition, companies are employing different strategies to attract and retain talent beyond financial benefits. Therefore, many organisations are now recognising the role that HR and P&R committees play.
