Opinno was asked to design and collaborate on a multifunctional mobile platform for a corporate campus of a large, successful company in Madrid. The main objective for the app’s development was a strong emphasis on User Experience Design.
The move towards a digital ecosystem
Opinno carried out an initial analysis of the company´s current need for user Experience Design. They wanted an app that would facilitate many aspects of the of the employees’ corporate existence and one that would transform the context of work in the company into a digital ecosystem.
At Opinno we have designed an app which provides solutions to all aspects of a corporate campus. It allows users to take full advantage of amenities and options at the company with ease. Administrators will also benefit from the single platform provided by the app which centralizes the work of managing a large and busy complex and its use of resources.
Opinno designed a digital key which allows access to all the company services and installations at the touch of a button. Employees can unlock these products with their mobile phones, beginning with their route to work. Using GPS technology, employees can find out the most direct and efficient way to work from home in real time each morning.
Place an order at the restaurant
Employees’ choice of food at the restaurant can be ordered in advance and paid for through our app, thanks to an integrated wallet. You can choose to eat in or take away at a time they decide.
Rent out electric bikes
The company’s own electric bikes are available to employees via the app. The virtual key unlocks bikes directly from their stands and allows users to pay directly with the integrated wallet. Employees can use the electric bikes to navigate the campus or the nearest metro stop.
Parking and charging electric cars
It is also possible to reserve a parking space for electric cars and a slot to charge them up. Any company employee can reserve a parking space from the app by selecting the desired day, time and duration.
Leisure & fitness
Employees can stay informed about activities at the gym since the app contains all they need to know about activities and timetables. Users can make a reservation across the leisure and fitness facilities available to them, which include a paddle tennis court and multipurpose court, swimming pool and other shared areas.
Users may also post advertisements for car-pooling. This application encourages park company employees to share vehicles when travelling to and from work via one of the platform’s features allows users to select a route, a starting point and desired arrival time. Once connected via the app, residents can follow up contact via email.
Connected to those at the nerve centre of the building
Employees will also have a direct line to report any incidents, pertinent information or suggestions to the campus’s administrators. This allows users to access information about the building in real time.
